Visiting
Having located a selection of suitable schools, the next step involves contacting the preferred schools and arranging to visit them. The visit enables you to see first hand what goes on at the school, who will be responsible for your child and to get the many questions you have answered.

Admissions Process
After you visit, you may well have made a decision. If this is the case you will start the Admissions Process. You will probably receive the relevant documentation from the school via post or at your first visit. If you have chosen one of the schools hand picked for you via Emetis, the school will be aware of all your relevant details and they will be able to advise on any extra information needed to complete this process. This is also the time to discuss any special arrangements or services you require from the school.

See:
The Admissions Process

Having successfully completed the Admissions Process, a cooling off period commences as you wait to hear from the school. You may well have paid a deposit to secure a place at the school, this is normal, it is also normal to loose this deposit if you back out at this stage.

Attending
If you have been successful, you now await the start of term. This is a period of making arrangements and discussion with all concerned.
